  • 1 cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios, walnuts)
  • ½ cup chopped dates
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • A few strands of saffron (optional)

  1. Chop & soak: Finely chop all dry fruits. Soak raisins and dates in warm milk for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Grind: Blend soaked dates and raisins into a coarse paste.
  3. Roast: Heat ghee in a pan. Add chopped dry fruits and roast until golden and aromatic.
  4. Cook paste: Add the date-raisin paste to the pan and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add milk & sugar: Pour in the milk and sugar. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  6. Flavor: Stir in cardamom powder and saffron strands (if using). Mix well.
